Donate to the 2019 Convention Scholarship Fund Now!

We need your help. The Path of Practice is a difficult one.  For many, there is added difficulty simply because of financial constraints. You can help yogis and yoginis in need by giving to our scholarship fund. When you make a gift of any amount, you make it possible for a fellow student or teacher to attend the convention. No amount is too small to make a difference to someone in need.  Donations of $25.00 or more will receive this commemorative poster as a token of our appreciation.

Please help us send many students or teachers in need to this next gathering of the Iyengar community. When you register, please check the box YES, I want to donate to the Convention Scholarship Fund. It will be added to your registration. OR if you’ve already registered and missed the donation opportunity, click here.

IYNAUS is a registered 501c3 not for profit corporation. All donations receive an acknowledgement letter which also serves as a receipt for income tax purposes. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent as allowed by the Internal Revenue Service.

“Receiving my scholarship to attend the convention in 2016 gave me a fundamental foundation in my teaching- from the source! I am eternally grateful for the experience.”

As a long time Iyengar Yoga practitioner and the owner of a small Iyengar Yoga studio in a more remote location, I spend a significant amount of my earnings traveling and studying outside of my home town. Receiving a scholarship from IYNAUS for the 2016 convention with Abhijata in Boca Raton, FL helped to make that cross-country trip more viable. It turned out to be a truly magnificent learning experience and one of the best conventions I’ve ever attended so I felt especially glad to have been able to attend. I highly recommend anyone who has concerns about how to budget for our next convention with Abhijata apply for a grant from IYNAUS.                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Anonymous

In 2015, I made my first trip to Pune to study, and I was able to make that happen with the help of IYNAUS scholarship fund. My experience in India on that trip could not have been more life changing. The intensity of the country, the Institute, the Iyengars – it all came together in ways that were not expected and very much appreciated. The classes, practice and observations gave my own practice as student and teacher a jolt. For an Iyengar student, there is nothing like this experience, and I am grateful to IYNAUS for helping so much.
